The laptop was OK just the night before but in the morning when I tried to turn it on the button lighted up but the screen remained blank. Then,it switched
itself off and then repeated the process.
It's only about 4 months old .Could this be a virus? What can I do to solve the problem?

Have you tried a cold boot?

Remove the battery and power cable, press the power button and then leave the machine for 10 minutes.

Reconnect battery/power then try booting again.

    Good luck.
