My laptop screen has been playing up for few weeks, I would appreciated if some can give me any help on how I can fix this problem.

I have got Acer Aspire 5000 which runs Win XP, the every time I boot the system up, I only use the top 1/4 of screen which responds to mouse movements and startup screens, the bottom 3/4 screen is just irresponsive, some time it comes back on, and go off.

if make some adjustment to screen as in shaking am movements it some times it start working fine, I don’t know what to do!! If any 1 had any similar problem, is there any way I can get this fixed? Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
