I am trying to fix a Aspire 5002 WLMi. However I seem to be having a problem.

I am unable to boot off CD and USB drive (XP OS). I have gone in the BIOS and change the boot order but for some reason it nevers boots off the drive or USB port.

There isn't much options in the bios and I am stuck.

    Anyone help?

Won't take it for some reason. I am pretty much stuck.

Your CD media its not bootable my friend.

You need a Genuine XP OEM CD .

The external USB hard drive , does not have support with out the OS loaded.
