    Hi!

I have a problem with my Aspire 5021WLMi.

It has the wonderful ATI Mobility Radeon X700 and the built-in screen is a panoramic 1280 x 800 pixels.

I have no problems with connecting external screens to it. But... Recently i bought an external LCD which is 1680 x 1050 in native resolution. However, no matter what drivers i use, along with the LCD drivers, i can't set the external screen resoution to be 1680 x 1050. I can set a lot of other panoramic resolutions (1280 x 800, 1900 x 1200 and more) but not this specific one.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Is it impossible at all or can i do something about it?

Thanks a lot in advance for any tips and solutions.
    Adam

    It works now!

I have installed the OmegaDrivers and now it works flawlessly. I love it. OmegaDrivers open up a myriad of resolutions that can be set, much more than the original ATI drivers.

    Thanks.
