In July I bought an Aspire 5050/3050 notebook computer. I don't like Vista so my friend put XP on it for me. This past week I started having problems turning my wireless internet on with the switch. Now the switch won't work at all, and the orange light is a constant faint orange color.

We tried reinstalling drivers and things like that, but we still can't get it to work. Does anyone know if there are recovery disks we can buy some place so that I can put Vista back onto my laptop? If not, does anyone know if I send my laptop in to get serviced, if they will still service it if I have XP and not Vista on it??

    Thanks for your help!!

As far as I know, changing the so doesnt void your warranty, and correct me if i am wrong, but you didnt change anything hardware related did you?
If not, nothing to worry about!
