Hey guys, I have an aspire 5051 (5050), with the bluetooth slider on the front. When i move it, i get "No Device" on screen - pretty normal for a laptop without the b/t option. My question is, on my old Dell laptop, it had no wireless built in BUT the antenna and mini-pci slot was there to add one. Is it the same beef with the Aspire? Can i get a bluetooth mini pci card and install it?

Also, will the front button then work!

    Cheers

    Kev

Check other models of your old laptops series, that should give you an idea if it was ever intended for bluetooth. Alternatively, depending on the age of your laptop (and wether you want to go through the hassle of chasing up the part), you can use a USB dongle to quickly give your computer bluetooth capability. The button won't work with that option though.
