    Greetings,
I am looking for the possibility to upgrade a Acer Aspire 5051 with a faster CPU. It is running WinXP with 3Gb of RAM.
CPU-Z tells me that My mainboard chipset is XPRESS 200 (RS480).
Where can I see wich CPU's are supprted by it?
    Thank you in advance

The aspire 5051 uses AMD turion processors(like the aspire 5050). Look at CPU-z's main page to see what your current processor is, it should be a turion MK series(MK-36) for your model.

You will be able to upgrade to any turion x2 (TL series) dual core processor as they all use socket S1 make sure your BIOS is up-to-date.
