    Aspire 5101 display problem

    I recently had to re-install Vista, since doing so every time it goes into Sleep/hibernate mode, when it is restored the Screen has flashing horizontal line dashing across it and is unwatchable, almost strobe like.

    When re-booted it is fine, coming out of Screensaver is fine, it's just sleep mode that gives the problem.

    Any ideas?

    i would update the video drivers as a first step. i saw a unit with this problem a few weeks ago but cant remember the solution

    Lee thanks, if only I could determine the correct drivers!! I find the Support site a nightmare for the 5100 series. My wife uses the 5101 and I have a 5103 but they have different Graphics.

    The 5101 says it is now a 200M and the site says there is a fix for this but I followed the link and cant find it. I'd appreciate it if someone would let me know what is the latest driver for the 5101 Radeon Express 100. Oh and where to find it.
