    Hi there,

I'm pretty set on purchasing a 5102 - the relatively large HDD and 1G memory are attractive at the price!

I've downloaded the user guide and it seems to use a native Acer application (Acer Arcade) for CD and DVD handling. How versatile is this for general purpose use (esp. data files and storage) compared with, say, Nero or Roxio?

If needs be, can it be replaced by Nero or Roxio?

    Regards

    John

I prefer Nero. You can get a cheap OEM copy of Nero on eBay.
