    Aspire 5102WLMi: 32-bit colors does not make difference

    My 5102 has grainy colors and it doesn't make difference if I choose 16- or 32-bit colors. I suppose they are 16-bit all the time. With Windows Vista the colors seem to be right so this is software problem.

    I have installed the latest chipset drivers and updated bios to v2.0. Still no luck!

    Also if you had any luck installing Motorola Phone Tools on 5102 I will gladly know how..!

    Maybe you could try to update your display drivers.

    I think they are integrated in chipset drivers? Nevertheless, I tried to install ATI's Catalyst Mobility 6.9 for Windows XP, but they were not supported (as the download page says).
    Should I try Omega drivers?

    It's worth a try. I've never had any experiences with Omega drivers though.
