    Aspire 5103WLMi internal mic wont work since reinstall

    Hi. I have a Aspire 5103WLMi and recently had to reinstall vista. i had to download the drivers for the webcam and that works fine, but just tried to use skype and found out my mic was not working. I have looked through the acer download site but nothing there. Any ideas? I notice i dont have the acer software on my pc now either (what comes on laptop when new) can i get this.

    You need to download the realtek HD audio drivers(codec). You can either get them from acer or go to realtek directly and download them, R2.12 is the latest version that realtek has on their download FTP servers.
