Would it be possible to upgrade the cpu on a 5112(Turion64x2 TL-50) to a TL-68? Since they both use the same socket

You can upgrade a turion x2 TL-50 to any other current turion x2 processor as they all use socket s1.

However goodluck finding a TL-68; in general the newer 65nm processors are hard to locate, especially the latest of them (TL-68) which was only released in december.
