    Hi,

I updated the BIOS on my Aspire 5112 to the latest version 2.60 that is listed on Acer's FTP site. The update when well without any glitches during the update. The problem that I'm experiencing is that when the laptop boots up, or returns from standy or hibernation mode, the LCD brightness is at 100% regardless as to how bright I had set it before.

I don't use the ePower Management utility as for some reason it refuses to work so i manually adjust the brightness.

Anyone experienced this issue with the LCD brightness after updating their BIOS?
