I have just completed a fresh install of Windows XP (I did not like the installed Media Centre edition). Anyway, After spending all day I now have everything installed except the SD card driver. I can't find them anywhere. Any help as to where I can download them would be appreciated.

I believe you mistyped your model number... don't you mean the 5102?
Well if you do you can try the acer euro site for the 5100 series and use the card reader driver from there. -
Yes, you are correct it is the 5102. However, have downloaded all of these items with no effect. Is there also a utility required?

Evolution, could you perhaps go into your device manager and identify any information about the 5 in 1 card reader, ie. make and driver information and I could perhaps do a search for drivers.

I am not sure why the driver file is not working on your 5102...the cardbus and cardreader driver file that you downloaded from acer's support website is the same version I got from them last month. According to my device manager it is version 1.7.4.0 by ENE Technology Inc, and that version controls SD,xD,MMC etc to work in my card reader slot...
They have renamed the file however so the file you need to get from the acer euro site and try, is called Cardbus_CardRdr_Navarro <---- get that under windows XP. Once you have unzipped the file run the "setup.exe" don't try to manipulate any of the inf driver files you see in that package. Once you run setup it will give you the option of whether you want the card reader drivers and cardbus (PCMCIA) driver or to install either of them separate. Just select all of them and let it install the drivers, windows will restart after it is finished and then it should work from there.
Hope this helps you...
