    Hey All.

It seems simple enough, yet when you least expect it, your creation strikes back.

Anyways this is what is in my mind: I hate vista lol.

My computer specs are in my specs area, so I won't list what they are.

Anyhow, I've always had a disk on my desk with every drive that I personaly need for my notebook if I ever install xp onto it, but I am way too frighten to be playing around with the same hard drive all the time. So this is my plan.

    1. Buy a good notebook hard drive (probably around 320 GIGS).

    2. Replace hard drive In notebook with new one, (Can anyone suggest to me where to keep the old hard drive, so if i ever require it, i can just get it back)

    3. Install Xp (Is it a MUST to change the SATA hdd mode in BIOS)

    4. Install Drivers

    5. Go onto forum and teach the rest of the world.

So is this a wise move?

If you read this thread, it has a section titled "Downgrading your 5315 to Windows XP". It has a link to the Soul Pass website that will tell you everything you need to know to install XP onto your 5315.
