I'm using a Scandisk 8 gig flash drive for ready boost. When I boot the computer, it won't boot in to vista unless the flash drive is pulled out. I updated to bios 1.43. Any sugestions?

    Thanks,

    Woody

You may have to enter the BIOS to make your harddisk the only primary boot device.

Tried that, but I could only move it up and down the list. Oh well, media player has a problem with it also. Won't open when the flash drive is in. Guess I'll just get the memory upgrade and forget it. :-(

I think you can press x to exclude it from the bootlist.

Tried that and nothing, but I did move it to the bottom of the list and it booted just fine. Go figure.

    Thanks for the help.
