    i just installed XP on the laptop with the newest software from Synhptics

    what can i do, i can't even type on this thing without the touchpad going crazy on me. There is no option for "tapping" or anything..

    i have version 10.1.8

    ok i got it fixed, i installed different software, i had the pointing device, not the touchpad installed.
