This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     i just installed XP on the laptop with the newest software from Synhptics

    what can i do, i can't even type on this thing without the touchpad going crazy on me. There is no option for "tapping" or anything..

    i have version 10.1.8

    ok i got it fixed, i installed different software, i had the pointing device, not the touchpad installed.
