Hi! First I want to thank you guys for letting me be part of this great forum and for the help you guys give.
    Well here I go...
I have 2 Acer Aspire 5349-2481 one is old and in good condition and the other one I just bought it used

The problem is with the one i just bought the LCD is Bad when I turn it on the LCD looks green so I when ahead and switched the LCD with my other Laptop (the old one) that I know for sure it has a good LCD, but still when I turn it on the display in not green but is total distorted even inside the BIOS... is like the laptop just don't like the Display.
I have updated the BIOS, the chipset and the intel hd 2000 driver with no change at all.
One more thing is when I connect the Laptop to an external display using VGA or HDMI looks GOOD.
Also I switched the CPU and the same thing happend.
So what you guys think the problem is??
    Any help will be appreciated.
And the Laptops are Out of Warranty

    Here are the SPECS.
    Acer Aspire 5349-2481
Intel Celeron B800 (2nd generation Sandy Bridge)
    Chipset: HM65
    OS: Windows 7-8
    8GB DDR3.

It can be an inverter or a a ribbon-connector that connects the LCD to the mobo.

You have already excluded LCD itself and since it works fine with an external monitor the graphics chipset is OK too.
Motherboard failure is still possible but unlikely.

Can you post a photo of how the LCD screen looks like?

    Here it is.
    Aspire 5349 - Imgur
That's in Windows but in the BIOS is the same thing.
When I switch to an external monitor using VGA or HDMI looks Good and when I witch the display back to the other as5349 works perfect.
If where a faulty Video Chip I will reflowed but this is integrated so don't know what my options are.

Also this displays are TFT LED LCD and I think don't have an inverter.
Here is one pic inside the BIOS.

Yes- good point. It's a LED backlit display so it doesn't have an inverter.

Since you have two notebooks can you use the other LCD cable to see if that helps (the one from working unit in the other one)
