    Needing new screen for these models. Found out that CCFL is double expensive as to the newer LED. Mine is CCFL. Ebay seller say some model has LED but I couldn't fine any LED vdo cable anywhere. Can we convert ccfl2led using the cable we have? I found out that the LED does not have inverter. Are the header on the MB same for both ccfl and led?

    You could try lcdparts, if you email the details of your laptop, they might suggest a suitable conversion and give you a price, I managed to convert my CCFL to LED a year ago and very pleased with the results.
