Hello. All of a sudden two days ago, my Aspire 5520-5912 will not recognize my built-in DVD/CD drive. I cannot find any drivers for it anywhere, neither online nor in the system-loaded eRecovery. I upgraded my BIOS to the latest, v33, but it also states no drive.

What can I do? The drive opens, closes and spins just fine. How can I make Vista SP1 see it again? This is crippling my productivity.

    Many thanks.
