Ok so I have Acer Aspire 5530G running on Vista 32-bit,
    AMD Turion x2 dual core
    2GHZ
    Radeon HD 3650
    4gb ddr2

    Background
    ------------
The laptop worked fine for first 2 months after I bought it, and then suddenly started running very slowly. I noticed it ran normally when I unplugged the power cord and as soon as I plugged it back in the CPU usage rocketed to 100%. After a while of living with this problem it turned into being slow even with the power cord on, and I returned to Giganten where I bought it and they shipped it to england to Acer's workshop.

Laptop was there for over a month and when I finally got it back, nothing had been done to it. it was still the same slow piece of s**t I had sent over, only that they had given me a new power cord to go along.

So I reinstalled everything and it didnt seem to rocket to 100% anymore , only that now the power light whatever thing turned Pink every now and then, what does that mean? unplugging and plugging back in seemed to turn it to blue again.

But, now the lappy has the same problem as earlier, only in reverse. when the power cord is out it has 100% CPU usage and when its in it runs normal.
Or whenever the light turns to Pink, it runs really slow.(Happens everytime I try to run a game on the laptop)
I have just installed the whole thing again earlier today but didnt seem to get rid of this problem this time so im writing here, since calling acer was no help whatsoever and all giganten is willing to do is to ship the laptop to acer workshop which proved to be totally useless.

Hope someone here has an idea on how to fix this because it is getting fairly annoying.

    Thanks for your time
