I'm having a problem with the fan. Typically when the computer starts up, the fan turns on full blast for a short while. Now, it's not starting up at all, even when the temperature reaches 50 degrees C. (It typically turns on at 45). I have a feeling it may be something wrong with the motherboard, but I want to have a look at the fan anyway.

I've tried unscrewing all the screws in the back, but still cannot get through and open it up. Does anyone know how to open it?

As an additional question, how is the Acer support staff? I have not tried calling them up yet.

google that part #,, and search EBAY for it as well....

acerstore i'm sure is a reputable place because they charge what i consider to be HIGH prices.... if i were gonna scam people the way to make money is volume scams at low prices

you might even GOOGLE ACERSTORE and see if any users have posted negative comments anywhere about their experineces
