    Aspire 5584, bios v1.3503 support T7200,T7400,T7600 CPU?

    hi.. mine is a aspire 5584, cpu is T5600 1.83Ghz (wit dedicated gpu, nvidia geforce go 7300).

    curently bios version is 1.3503. date stated is 03 Mar 07.

    so my question is will this v1.3503 bios able to support T7200 or T7400 or T7600 CPU? so as save the trouble of updating the bios.

    also, anyone upgraded the cpu n works w/o updating bios?

    Well, the release notes for your BIOS doesn't say it exactly but I think you'll be fine using your current version. However there are a few updates available(the latest BIOS for your laptop appears to be 3508) so you might consider BIOS update after all:
    Here's the log:
    Please note the log is from 3505, the 3508 update doesn't contain log file. Also this is NOT the complete BIOS log, just like the latest 10 updates.
    If you want to see the full log go to this page:

    and download the 3505 package. Open the archive and then open REL1_NOTE.txt.

    You can get the latest BIOS for your laptop from the same link.
