I have just reinstalled Vista and for some bizarre reason my +/- Volume keys aren't working.
Any ideas please?

download and install LAUNCH MANAGER for your MODEL and OS
-
-
http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_5610.html
but that site is SLOW right now... your laptop is not a 5610Z is it? -
http://www.mediafire.com/?zwipg5vyft4
that is the file you need... the 5610 and 5610z use the same launch manager -
That has done the trick however I get a little clicking noise just before I hear any sound..
-
REALTEK DRIVER DOWNLOAD PAGE
i know some acer models have had sound issues solved by updating the BIOS -
This is what it is showing

Is the above right? As for the download link it stopped halfway and said it had timed out...
-
I have sorted this now by downloading from Realtek

For some strange reason the sound or buttons do not always work. If I restart it solves the problem. If I right click on the speaker on the toolbar that says Realtek High Definition Audio and try to open, nothing happens...
Any ideas please?
