    Aspire 5610 Volume Keys Not Working

    I have just reinstalled Vista and for some bizarre reason my +/- Volume keys aren't working.

    Any ideas please?

    download and install LAUNCH MANAGER for your MODEL and OS

    That has done the trick however I get a little clicking noise just before I hear any sound..

    other than suggesting that you update the drivers for your sound device there is not much else i can think of...

    i know some acer models have had sound issues solved by updating the BIOS

    Is the above right? As for the download link it stopped halfway and said it had timed out...

    For some strange reason the sound or buttons do not always work. If I restart it solves the problem. If I right click on the speaker on the toolbar that says Realtek High Definition Audio and try to open, nothing happens...

    Any ideas please?
