    Hi,

I have a 5610Z and just installed Windows 7 32bit. Ok, I probably should have looked into the win7 supported modells, but I didn't. Installation worked fine and everything looks good, except of the touchpad. It doesn't work! It's recognized and everything but simply doesn't work. As the laptop is not offically supported for Win7, there's also no driver from Acer. I tried the driver from the synaptics page, and I can do also the touchpad settings, etc. but still no reaction.
Does anybody have a hint or what I can do (expect of using an usb mouse)? I really can't believe that win7 will not run properly on an two year old laptop, just because of that stupid touchpad.

    Thanks!
    Chris
