Bought my new Acer Aspire 5633WLMi on the 12th of April this year and it is brilliant apart from this one problem. Every so often usually when i'm playing a game it switches itself off but then goes on again back to the desktop just like it has just started up. It is really annoying because I lose all the things that I haven't saved. Please help!

What to suggest first .. Mmm .. first change power management and ensure everything is set to NEVER and screen saver disabled.

Does this happen with only ONE game? If so probably poor coding.

How hot the laptop grows before it restarts ? (because one of the main reasons of restarts while gaming is either bad drivers or the laptop overheating) Use SpeedFan and RivaTuner (if your GPU is made by nVidia) to figure out the temps. while playing and please report them.
Also how long have you had the laptop and how dusty are the places that it's being kept?

Good answer ... heat could be an issue but I'll wager it's just **** coding on a particular game ;)
