    Hi all,

My Aspire 5670 is dead, I'm trying the "Crisis" recovery by Power ON while pressing Fn+Esc.

All I got is light from Bluetooth led (blue led), I did my pendrive bootable (FAT) with bios, etc, but no signal of green led from it.

Someone else recovered a 5670 before? What you did? Currenctly I cannot burn a CD since this other computer got just a CD writer and I'm lacking of CDs here, I'll need to buy somes tomorrow. Please, let me know if your 5670 lights up the Blue led or not, while pressing Fn+Esc at power ON.

    Thanks,
    Gradius

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, the forum seems to have gone poof.

If the system doesn't even post, it doesn't do any good to attempt a restore of the OS.

On my 5672 when I do a full startup on the bios screen the blue light turns on and then it starts loading the OS. It sounds like your motherboard is shot due to a bad rom flash.
