    Aspire 5670 won't POST

    Starting last night my Aspire 5670 fails to POST. I had left the computer on while using Firefox and left for a few hours. When I came back it was off, and when I tried to turn it on, the hard drive access light came on and off and so did the Caps lock light. Then nothing. The screen doesn't come up so I can't check the BIOS. Help?

    Does the caps lock light stay on? or just flash....

    If it just flashes try hooking it up to a external monitor and see if it will post...

    If it stays on or the external monitor doesn't work try removing the memory and reinstalling one at a time to see if you have a bad stick of memory.

    If those do not work and i can give you some more things to try but it isnt looking good.
