    Hello i was wounding anyone with a aspire 5672 wound mind runing gold memoery on they laptop to see if ram fails?. I am try to figure out if it program not working right with laptop? or if is the laptop Memory itself being bad

    This happened to me too. The test freezes and you need to restart.

    instrested have you try run memtest 86?? cuiros is just issue with laptop or program

    Use only new (end of 2006/2007) programs to test your laptop because older programs are not compatible with newer Acer hardware.
    Also if your laptop is working OK and you don't have BSOD's your memory is fine,don't worry about that.

    I also thought that my memory is bad because Memtest (older v.) was showing errors in it and I had problems with soundcard and modem.But after BIOS flash all problems were gone and new version of Memtest is showing no errors in memory.

    i did use the latest memtest and it crash that why i was asking oh well have,nt got the laptop back from acer but thank for input
    bios was lastest too at time

    well it seem after replace mainboard twice and new ram it now pass the tests prefectedly

    with stock bios
