Aspire 5672 Motherboard broken..??!!??

I am really pissed off with this Acer laptop. I'm sure this was my last Acer ever!!

I've only had the laptop for over a year, and it's been sent back to repair for 2 times. First time was because the laptop heats up really fast and it becomes extremely hot on the keyboard. So i sent it, they fixed it. no problem. Secound time, the build in web cam doesn't function. and they refuse to pick up the laptop, instead i have to spend 70+ dollars to sent it in for repair. Now just 2 month after the one year warranty, motherboard is broken.

I was just running WMP, and the whole thing froze, I tried to reboot, won't go in to windows at all. I tried running the recovery disks, won't run the disk, everytime i restart, it just freezes now.

sent it to a local laptop repair store, they said it's gonna be $150 jus to replace the motherboard!!!!! and it will be another 50+ dollars to replace the hard drive!!

I am just so extremely mad right now!!! spent 1300 on this stupid laptop. My friends' HP(from 2004) and IBM(from 2001) are still functioning well!!

is there anything i can do at this point? any help? please?

 

My 5672 is broken too. As of this week. The funny thing is Acer technical support quoted the repair cost at 800 dollars over the phone, I nearly choked!

what are they doing? if they out warrenty take them apart see what up with them no power to boards at all??

I have been finding that there has been either very GOOD advice or very BAD advice on these forums. If you don't know what you are talking about (or can't word it in a complete sentence) then please DONT POST.
