Anyone have success connecting a Aspire5672 to one of those older KVM at the work place? This old KVM (Compaq 4110) has cables that terminates in PS/2 keyboard and PS/2 mouse. But my Aspire5672 only have USB ports meaning you can only use USB keyboard and mouse. I bought from the dollar store a cheapo USB to PS/2 mouse & PS/2 keyboard and tried it, but it doesn't work. I figure a dollar store $1 cable is not made well enough to work in this KVM environment (where teh cable from teh KVM to the target PC is like 25feet long). Anyway, anyone else have encountered this situation and how do you resolve it? I really need to hook the notebook to the office KVM because I sit mostly in front of the KVM console during the day.

thats weird how it didn't work.

I've used a USB KVM for my 5672 but not PS/2. These are not backwards compatible to the best of my knowledge, not unless you use some sort of docking bay that emulates it.
