is it normal that the volume is really really low even on highest everything? this is a format xp with all the newest drivers from realtek website , i dont really remember how low the volume was when i first got the laptop because i formatted it as soon as i got it. the sound quality is great it's just it's really low.

Double check your Realtek software manager to see if you have your wav audio turned down, or if you have some odd setting in there causing problems for you.

My audio is fine on my 5672, just make sure that you have more than just the master volume turned up, the wav audio makes a difference in most cases as well (just don't crank it too high)
