    Aspire 5680 - battery?

    I want to phase acer 5685. Who can tell me what the model the battery is? Is that the rating 4400mAH or 4000mAH? Thx.

    I gotta a 5685 and a very nice machine it is too ... though I sense you are concerned about the battery life and "yes" it is not great coming in for me at 2 1/2 hrs of normal use. The battery is a 8cell 4800mAh one and it would be nice if there was a 7200mAh one available (not found one so far).

    I am implementing some extra power saving schemes like undervolting the cpu etc so should be able I hope to get about 3hrs normal continuous use.
