    Yeah I think you are right, just saw the 5720, and the place its still empty but with connector(which is missing on my motherboard) and is:
    11. VGA Board Connector.

    So what's this, a place for MXM GPU? And why I don't have this connector for crying out loud..? And I'm sure its impossible to buy and/or attach..

    trouble with it being a GPU is cooling !

    but knowing acer i think you could be spot on mate.
