    Hi

    Acer Aspire 5738Z, Windows Vista

I would like to know what the keyboard shortcut is to 'lock' the keyboard, and then to free it again, please.

I have two kittens just now and, as you can imagine, when I'm looking at something beside me, one of them is walking over the laptop!

Interestingly enough, one of them walked and stood on the keyboard yesterday and I after discovered the keyboard was totally inactive. So, my kitten knows how to do it but she won't let on!!! ;)

Please, is there someone out there who knows of this key combination. By the way, it wasn't WinStart+L - that locks the machine, not just the keyboard. I need to continue to be able to read the screen and, sometimes use the mouse too, while the keyboard is inactive.

Thanks for any help from you guys
    Cheers
