    Does anyone know anything about this laptop? It seems to be well-speced for the price ($800, NVIDIA GT 130M, supposedly good battery life) but I can't really find any reviews of it, other than the short ones on Newegg.

    The 5739G comes in Europe with the 240M :D, take a look at this thread, I had posted and some shop links.
    So they might be replacing with this version or you can try to find it with that type of card. The price here in Europe was around €800 so it could still be in your budget.
