Hello
I have problems with this configuration Aspire 5810TG (ati4330) + Win7 RTM 64bit
- i dont know how to activate ATI 4330 vga (i can see it in device manager but dont know how to activate, there is no option in intel vga control pannel)
- bios version 1.28 (default from store)
- bios set "Switchable graphic - Switchable"
only installed:
- intel GS45 chipset 64bit drivers (infinst911autol.zip)
- intel GS45 vga 4 series 64bit drivers (Win7_64_15154.zip)
- ati vga drivers (ati_9-9_beta_win7_64_dd_CC.exe)
- Acer lauch manager (LaunchManager_Dritek_2.0.03_Vistax64Vistax86_A.zip)
Thanks for any advice

From what I heard Win7 is not yet ready for hybrid.
So try to switch graphics using BIOS setting instead of using switchable, otherwise everything is fine.
You can still try to use Hybrid but sometime BSOD can occur.
Microsoft official stand is that they discourage OEM to enable Hybrid Graphics. -
If you install the ATI driver you will get a "switchable graphic" option when you rightclick your desktop.
Just go to the acer drivers download page, and choose Acer Aspire 4810TG as your computer. You will find a ATI VGA driver download there that will work for your 5810TG -
Thanks a lot.
Its shame that acer dont update their driver site completely.Last edited by a moderator: May 8, 2015 -
Another problem appears. Whe i set "Powersaving GPU = Intel" i cant restart system -> it locks:
- display is OFF
- fans are ON
- wifi led + energy saving led is ON
- power button led is ON
only way from this state is to press power button for 5sec to shutdown nb
- when i set ATI card everything works
