    Aspire 5920 - Drivers Windows Xp 64bits

    Hi to all,

    i had installed windows xp 64bits in my laptop, a Aspire 5920-6080, but there's no have drivers for xp 64 bits in cd recovery, neither in acer website, anyone, knows where have drivers for this platform?

    Might be worth going to the device manufacturers website to get the drivers.

    Have you got a list of devices you need drivers for, might be easier for people to help.

    One of the failures of 64bit XP was the lack of driver support. There may not be drivers available for everything you need. My feeling is if you are going to use XP, just use the 32bit version. For a 64bit OS, use Vista64 or Linux.

    Hi paten, thanks, but the Vista 64, come with drivers for my laptop?? do you have tried Vista 64 in a acer 5920-6080? vista runs without any problem?? i'm afraid only for drivers and some programs, like adobe, that i use in 32bits, but i wanna test in 64bits, cause said me that in 64 bits runs better.

    Vista 64 bit works like a charm on my 5920. Been using it for a year now, without any issues.

    I've got Vista 64bit, works well, no real driver issues to speak of. Acer supports vista 64bit aswell, you can download the drivers from their website.
