I have an aspire 5920 with factory installed Vista Home Prem., 32 bit.
I have a DVD back up of my system I made about a week after I started using it. Recently, the cd/dvd drive died. (Ribbon cable kinked).
Ive started having problems with thw system "losing" icons, programs "loading" but never completeing or hanging, wireless no longer working, (cant find networks that it is sitting 8" inches away from).
I really need to revert to my back up and "Re-install" vista. How can I convert my dvd backup to a cd(s) back up that I can use? I have an external cd burner (usb) that my laptop has no problem recognizing in either normal mode or safe mode. I can only get laptop to go into recovery mode by using an recovery cd. ALT+f10 dont work.
    Thanks
