Sorry for the computer series typo, meant to type 9522.

    Hey guys.

So, I bought this Aspire 9522 Notebook two days ago and have noticed that the colors on the display seem to "wash out" towards the bottom of the display. At first, I thought this was light leakage, but I'm not really sure whether its working as intended or not.

    Here are my specs:

    Intel Core Duo t2250 (1.73ghz, 533Mhz FSB, 2MB L2 cache)
    17" WXGA+ Acer Crystalbrite LCD
Up to 784MB Nvidia Geforce go 7900 shared memory
    160 gig HDD
    2G DDR2 RAM.

edit: I discovered that it is possible to adjust the backlight. How is this done? And I don't mean adjusting screen brightness with the funcition key.
Any help would be appreciated. Other than this I'm very happy with the notebook but this is really starting to bother me.
