I have a Bluetooth keyboard shortcut but I apparently have no BT hardware installed. I downloaded the driver from Acer's Euro support site but it says no hardware detected during installation. I forgot whether my laptop has BT or not since I reinstalled Vista without checking what drivers were installed :( Does anyone else's 6920G have BT, and if so, which driver? Thanks!

Press the Bluetooth button on the right side of your keyboard - that will turn on the hardware, and allow you to install the software.

Tried that. The only time something happens to that button is when I boot the laptop. It glows blue but turns off once Windows' loading screen appears.

You actually have to press it in Windows to turn it on.
It's silly, I know. That's what I had to do to enable it on my 6920G.

Check the device manager to see if you have a BT card installed.

OK, I meant that you should press the Bluetooth button when you're in Windows, in theory turning on the Bluetooth module.
...but after doing some research, it turns out that you don't have one.
    See here.

Turn the laptop upside down .

Check the stickers , if you see the BT symbol , you have it .
If not , you do not .

If you had the ACER software loaded - On screen dispay , you could see the message " No device " if you press the button and not have a BT module.

To install one BT module , its a bit of trouble , but if you like trouble , Hit the link on my signature .
