Has anyone found any software that will allow me to control fan speed by temperature level? If not, it would be nice to atleast crank it at full speed when gaming if that's possible. I have already tried the software for the aspire 6930g that was posted a few days back and it didn't work for my model.
Also, has anyone had any expirence with an external gpu such as the vidock? I have recently been looking into the vidock and also another cheaper alternitave that only includes the boards and no enclosure. I just want to be able to plug my acer in to some external monitors on a desk for a little more intensive gaming, battlefield 3 and Crysis 2.
I don't want to break the bank to outfit for future LAN parties and need to know if this is a viable alternative to building a new desktop system. I am aware of the bandwidth limitations over expresscard 54, but I just need something that can handle most games on medium settings.
My overclocked geforce 9500m just can't quite keep up anymore![]()

There is no software to control the fan on 6920 as far as I know.
As for eGPU- I see you've consulted nando4's thread.
I don't remember any 6920G users attempting this so that's why you got no feedback here.
