    i have an acer aspire 6930 with the 768 screen resolution. is the hdmi output port on the notebook going to be the same or is it 1080?

    Through the HDMI port you should be able to go anywhere from 800x600 to 2500 by 1200.

    Basically your output through HDMI is not the same as your notebook.
