My brother is currently having a problem with his Aspire 6930 where the speakers will randomly distort. It will go back to normal after about 5 minutes, but it's obviously rather annoying. It also does now happen when using headphones or external speakers.

The only thing I did with it is upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit (from Vista 32-bit), and installed the drivers on the Acer page.

    Any ideas?
