This model has the Intel 4500MHD and 1366*768 screen. My laptop has a cracked screen. Will a 1920*1080 replacement screen work? I'm stuck with the Intel 4500MHD, right? Even at 1366*768, it has problems playing downloaded HD movies so I know it will be a dog at 1920*1080, but I mostly use the laptop for real work.

Not possible to upgrade to a 1080p lcd. The need wires are not not there on the lcd wiring harness. It may be possible to upgrade to a 1600x900 screen since many dell laptops use the same cable for 1366x768 lcd's but differ from 1080p lcd's.
