I’m having intermittent weird problems with the keyboard. The most common thing is that, while word processing, the volume control suddenly goes crazy (on its own, begins going up and down, up and down).
Once that intermittent weirdness starts, it usually escalates: when I hit the delete key, instead of actually deleting anything, it inserts “c.” (”C” seems to be a favorite character for inserting randomly when I hit other keys.) The arrow keys started having weird results (Cs, or numbers, or skipping to weird places) and then text gets highlighted in the document, and I need to reboot. The reboot generally ends the weirdness, at least for a time.

I think it has something to do with static electricity cause it is only fixed by turning the power off and then back on.... If you type on it for a little while, use the touchpad etc. after 2-3 hours its back...

    I hope it won't fry :(

I think the same like you l10nh34rt, it´s static electricity.
The only think, that helps is to remove the power cable and the battery for a few seconds or minutes and then laptop works, but just for a while.
The slightest movement of my notebook or any touch on keyboard opens my browser or windows media player, the volume button lights and the volume goes down or up alone, it's quite disruptive.
I did uninstall Launch Manager, reinstall Vista - nothing helps and I don´t know, what to do.

Guess we'll just have to return them :(

Maybe a simple keyboard change will fix it....
