    Hi guys,
    sorry to bother you all.
Althought ive blasted thru millions of thread, i never saw anyone saying directly "IT WORKS!", but only peoples with succesful upgrade to 4650.
Since ebay have a good selection of 4670 right now, i would upgrade to it if anyone can give me some directions, like if it works, if it needs a bios flash, or something like that.

Im looking at this: ATI HD 4670 HD4670 M96 XT DDR3 1GB MXM A Vedio VGA Card su eBay.it Graphics, Video TV Cards, Computer Components, Computers Networking

Someone with a succesful upgrade then?
    Thanks alot.

a 4670 works but only if it's MXM 2.1 Type II, that's a MXM 3 Type A so it won't fit in your laptop!

Ah i see, so the only worth upgrade is a 4650?
Does it overclock like the 9600m gt ddr3 that i have installed?
Just want to know if the upgrade is actually worth.
My 9600 now is clocked to 640/1550/900 and it does really fine.
    Thanks all!

    BTW my conf is:

    T9400 Cpu
    9600m GT DDR3 512mb
Using a custom bios instead of msi afterburner.

If you can't get a 4760 MXM-II then I would stay with the 9600M GT. What you have is fine. While the 4650 and the 4670 is overclockable, they don't have much overhead to overclock since their temps are already pretty high on load for each of them.

    I see, many thanks mate!
I think that im squeezing the most out of my 6930g, did the undervolt of the cpu as well and got a cooling pad.For gaming at least im satisfied specially with the GPU overclocked. Thanks again!

Didnt had the time to bench it yet,im going to give it a go later.
I can say that dirt 2 1280x720 ultra settings with no aa keeps 28/30 steady.
Same for dirt 1,while NFS shift 1280x720 all high 16x af no aa goes from 30 to 55.
    Singularity 1280x720 high 30 steady,
Bad company 2 all high 16x af no aa 1280x720 from 28 to 45.
With aa 4x dips to 22/26.
Anyway ill post some benchs later!

Yeah I have the full version. If you hooked it up to a monitor it would go to its default of 1280x1024.

Wow, I probably need to get a copy seeing as how I'm one of the few people here who can mod their system and don't have the software. Your score is pretty close to an underclocked 4670 which is really nice. I don't know why exactly MSI sent me a replacement card clocked at 650 instead of 675 in the vBIOS but I doubt it makes much of a difference. Replace your T9400 with a T9900 or X9100 and you would probably get a score within 100 of a 4670.

Oh ive upgraded to Windows 7 x64 professional and ive ran the same benchmark again, well guess what:

That's roughly 100 points more, and i guess i scored them in cpu section with a fewer more points in VGA. So X64 DOES improve system, and now im using fully 4gb as well :)
