    Aspire 6930g volume touch key automatically and continuously turns the volume down

    the volume touch keys above the keyboard automatically and continuously turns the volume down. Very annoying problem :mad:


    i can't just disconnect this part because it has the WiFi & Bluetooth buttons ! :(
    here is what it looks like

    anyone have an idea how to just disable all media keys or just the volume keys ??


    also i have some other keyboard problems ,, like it inserts “c.” randomly and some times i can't even wright anything like i'm holding the Shift key or Alt !!

    try cleaning the touch sensitive keys with a cotton cloth and some window cleaner. And if that don't work uninstalling the Launch manager software and downloading a fresh copy from the Acer support website.

    tried all this ,,, even tried to install Ubuntu but in the install menu i had the same problem :(

    Have you tried resetting it? Unplug the laptop and take the battery out for 10 seconds.
