Hi. I have the 7551G model, and my cat knocked over my coffee onto the keyboard yesterday which seems to have fried the C and shift keys. So I'm going to order a replacement keyboard for it. Is there an easy way to remove the keyboard for this model? It's a chicklet keyboard and while I'm experienced with replacing things on the underside, I've never replaced a keyboard before. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

    Thank you!

Hi, thanks Alex. Unfortunately, that one isn't quite the same. I'm guessing that the 7551G is a pretty new model or something, because it's not easy to find documentation on it.

    Well Dittie,

I've the same problem (red wine and my sister). Tried to unscrew everything but i cannot separate the top from the bottom. Could you find any documentation how to replace the keyboard?

I couldn't, however, it was actually very simple. there are little tabs, one by the esc key, by F4, F12, del and end. and you just push those in, lift the keyboard out carefully, disconnect the ribbon, and then put in the new one :) It was almost too easy.
