Hi everybody! I recently purchased a brand new Acer Aspire 7720G notebook, it's a great peace of a machine but I'm having problems with DPC latency's. When I run DPC Latency Checker the graphs are going wild in the red area almost constantly, and then again, they're sometimes almost always below 2000us. This bugs me because this notebook was intended for work with Serato Scratch Live, and any high DPC's are causing audio dropouts. The strangest thing is, after I installed a clean XP, first thing a started up was DPC Latency Checker and it already gone wild, so this was before any of the drivers were installed. Now I have disabled W-Lan, modem, video camera, almost anything I don't need but DPC's are still too high, and the CPU usage is at 0%. What's causing this? Hardware or software?

I had the same problem with my TM 3270 T7200 2.0GHz core2Duo,
First you disable the DVD writer and check if latency problem is solved, mine did.
If problem solved, you may need a firmware upgrade of your DVD drive, a firmware upgrade solved my problem and I do not need to dissable the DVD drive anymore. -
I will try that! Thanks man, I'll keep you posted.

Tried disabling my DVD drive but nothing changed. DPC latency's are still going wild. Now I have almost everything disabled in Device Manager, I don't have any ideas left...
